What we process and why
Enquiries
When you complete a contact or brief form, this site prepares an email in your own email app, addressed to us. We receive only what you choose to send, typically your name, email address, phone number, country and project details. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Direct contact
If you email or call us directly, we process the details you give us for the same purposes.
Technical data
Like any website, the servers that host this site may record technical data in server logs, such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. This is used to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse. We do not combine it with other data about you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Language choice
If you choose a language other than English, your browser remembers it for the current session only, using session storage. It is not sent to us and disappears when you close the tab or browser.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry and, if a contract follows, for the periods the law requires for that contract, such as accounting records. After that it is deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept only for a short, limited period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, where the law allows;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. We reply within one month.
Complaints
You can complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Security and changes
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
